Christopher Eagles is a percussionist based in Longmont Colorado. He holds a music degree from Acadia University (B.M.) which he completed under Mark Adam, and a master's degree under the tutelage of Morris Palter at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is currently finishing his second year of doctoral study at CU Boulder
Chris specializes in contemporary percussion music, both in a chamber and solo setting. An active commissioner of new work Chris has commissioned both solo and chamber works by composers such as Emerson Eads, Molly Joyce, Brian Topp, Marc Mellits, and Derek Charke. He now teaches percussion and drumline at Colorado Christian University.
